We have an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience in Huntsville, AL. Salary based on relevant experience and education.

Key Responsibilities

n
• Provide support to multiple MBSE projects for the US Air Force and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
n
• Use MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for selected systems.
n
• Develop, maintain, and assess system architecture using SysML or similar modeling languages, to provide traceability of system artifacts throughout the system lifecycle.
n
• Create system models using government architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability.
n
• Implement and manage system architectures in a digital engineering environment.
n
• Develop and evaluate systems using standardized measures of performance and effectiveness.
n
• Provide engineering level input to system models under development.
n
• Review and create/update system requirements, specifications and technical documentation using a model centric approach.
n
• Participate in periodic program reviews and technical presentations to Government stakeholders.

Requirements

n
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
n
• Three (3) years' MBSE experience in support of DoD/Joint systems.
n
• Demonstrated ability to execute complex system-of-systems analysis efforts.
n
• Experience with DoD operations, concepts, and technologies and their supporting sensors, effectors, and networks.
n
• Proficient in developing SysML and/or UAF models within Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
n
• Familiarity with managing models in Teamwork Cloud environment.
n
• Good problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
n
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
n

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS SCI
n

Additional Desired Experience

n
• Familiarity with DOORS requirement management tool and connecting to Cameo models.
n
• Experience with programing languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Java.
n
• Knowledge of DoDAF model development.
n
• Experience with USAF Battle Management systems.
n
