Responsibilities
n

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for the preparation and presentation of the hotels complimentary hot breakfast.

Responsibilities:

n
    n
  • Preparation of the Hotel’s complimentary hot breakfast
  • n
  • Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures.
  • n
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • n
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • n
  • Maintains a prepared and sanitary work area at all times.
  • n
  • Constantly uses safe and hygienic food handling practices.
  • n
  • Handles, stores and rotates products properly.
  • n
  • Assists in food prep assignments.
  • n
  • Closes the kitchen following all closing checklists provided by the Executive Chef.
  • n
  • Communicates clearly with managers, kitchen and front of the house associates.
  • n
  • Assists in various areas of the hotels Food & Beverage outlets.
  • n
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef/ Executive Chef
  • n

Qualifications
n

Requirements:

n
    n
  • Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills
  • n
  • Must be able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
  • n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
  • n
  • Must be dependable and energetic
  • n
  • Previous experience cooking in large volume preferred
  • n
  • This is an early morning shift, however requires flexibility to work based on business demands
  • n
n

Physical Requirements:

n
    n
  • This position requires constant standing and walking. Frequent bending, squatting, handling and grasping. Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs. Pushing and pulling is minimal.
  • n
n

  • Indoor working conditions in fast paced environment.
