Job Description : The Project Engineer assists the Project Management Team in meeting the Company's objectives and goals, which include ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and per contract and specifications. The Project Engineer along with the Project Management team maintaina safe working environment for all employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional, first class customer service.
• Assist with the execution and management of the terms of project contracts.
• Prepare and present computer generated spreadsheets and reports.
• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with entire project team, including Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and other subcontractors.
• Generate, maintain and facilitate project documentation in the execution of the construction processes for all-phases of the project. This will include, but is not limited to, requests for information, submittals, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, close-out documents, etc.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all aspects of the work.
• Maintain flexibility with assigned work environment, and assigned project locations. May be required to commute to various jobsite locations.
• Attend and conduct meetings as required.
• Hold a valid driver's license and responsible transportation required.
• Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.
• Other duties may be assigned as specific projects dictate
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 1-2 years prior experience in related field via internships, co-ops, and/or industry employment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software including Microsoft Office, Accubid, Constructware, Kahua, Procore, PlanGrid, etc.
• Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed inside and outside which may include adverse weather conditions and uneven working surfaces.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb, or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, stand . The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
