Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Roofer s for projects located in and around Charleston, SC . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  Tear off BUR roofing and install tapered ISO insulation with modified bitumen membrane

  n
n
• n

  Weld modified roofing membrane (laps, patches, seams, etc.)

  n
n
• n

  Install, repair, and replace commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal, and built-up roofing

  n
n
• n

  Apply roofing materials using techniques such as heat welding, cold application, and mechanical fastening

  n
n
• n

  Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing of roof penetrations, seams, flashings, and transitions

  n
n
• n

  Perform roof inspections and identify issues such as leaks, damage, or deterioration

  n
n
• n

  Operate roofing tools and equipment safely (e.g., torches, rollers, cutters, power tools)

  n
n
• n

  Maintain a clean and organized job site, minimizing material waste and maximizing productivity

  n
n
• n

  Collaborate with the team to plan, schedule, and execute projects efficiently and within budget

  n
n
• n

  Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients

  n
n

Requirements:

n
• n

  Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing

  n
n
• n

  Strong knowledge of various roofing systems and application techniques

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work outdoors in various conditions and lift heavy materials

  n
n
• n

  Keen attention to detail, especially in waterproofing and sealing

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work independently and follow instructions

  n
n
• n

  OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification; TI does offer the course to qualified employees who have yet to obtain the certification

  n
n
• n

  Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand project requirements

  n
n
