We are seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer (PE) to lead and support a variety of structural design and inspection projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a thorough understanding of Florida Building Code and local regulations.
Responsibilities
n

• Design and analyze structural systems for residential and commercial buildings, additions, and renovations.
n
• Prepare/review and seal structural plans, specifications, and calculation packages for permitting.
n
• Perform field inspections and structural assessments for existing structures, including hurricane damage evaluations and threshold inspections.
n
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and permitting agencies.
n
• Ensure all designs comply with Florida Building Code, ASCE 7, and local municipality standards.
n
• Support junior engineers and drafters with design reviews and mentoring.
n

Qualifications
n

n
• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (M.S. a plus).
n
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
n
• 38 years of structural engineering experience (residential and/or light commercial).
n
• Proficient in structural analysis software.
n
• Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
n
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
