nWhat you will be doing as a Facilities Engineer:
nIn this role, you can expect to be crucial in planning and coordinating the design and construction of facilities, installing new equipment, and managing renovations and repairs. You'll tackle complex engineering challenges involving Textron Aviation's facilities, maintenance, processes, systems, and specialized equipment. Join our team and drive innovation in every project!
nYour responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
nSub-Contractor Coordination : Select and manage sub-contractors and consulting engineers for design, construction, renovation, and repairs Project Development : Develop scope of work, cost estimates, project schedules, and provide progress updates Quality Assurance : Ensure equipment and materials meet brand standards and inspect work for compliance with design criteria and safety codes Technical Evaluations : Conduct design and economic evaluations, and prepare technical reports Project Leadership : Lead capital projects within approved budgets and support energy conservation and equipment installation projects Facility Documentation : Utilize AutoCAD and other software to update facility drawings and record changes
nWhat you need to be successful:

- Bachelor's degree required in Architectural Engineering, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or other relative field n

A minimum 2 years of relative manufacturing or facilities experience is required

Ability to work and communicate both efficiently and professionally with internal and external customers is needed

Problem solving skills and attention to detail are helpful

Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is helpful
