Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform daily specimen collection and processing activities accurately and timely under area supervisor direction
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
- Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per established procedures
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and leadership behaviors
Job Requirements:
- Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric draws
- Flexible availability based on staffing needs including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA)
Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience REQUIRED
- 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred
- Customer service experience in retail/service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience required
Additional Job Details:
- Candidates must list home city and commute time to job site on resume
- Rate based on years of direct experience only (overlapping roles not double-counted)
- Reliable transportation to/from worksite required (bus, Uber, rideshare NOT accepted as reliable)
- Must be punctual, attend full shifts, and have low absenteeism/tardiness (cause for termination)
- Commute time must be within 20-25 minutes to ensure coverage ability
- Bilingual candidates must have excellent English and Spanish proficiency
