Responsibilities: As an Industrial Food Prep Operator, you'll be responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging fresh ingredients with care and accuracy. Your key responsibilities will include: • Prep and Precision: Cut raw vegetables according to production schedules, ensuring correct size and proper dip procedures. • Operate with Excellence: Set up, run, and monitor Urschel and other food processing equipment; watch for blade wear or damage. • Maintain Cleanliness: Follow cleanroom protocols including PPE use (hairnet, lab coat, boots) to meet hygiene and food safety standards. • Weigh, Label, Record: Weigh and label product precisely and document dip and drain times on HACCP paperwork. • Troubleshoot Efficiently: Recognize and respond to machine issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain quality output. • Stay Audit-Ready: Ensure cleanliness, safety, and documentation are always prepared for internal and external audits. • Support the Team: Contribute to a collaborative team environment, helping others when needed and upholding Sandridge’s Core Values. Qualifications: What You Bring to Sandridge • Education: High school diploma or GED required • Experience: • Machine operator or food manufacturing experience preferred • Basic knowledge of safe food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus Skills: • Strong attention to detail and time management • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues • Basic computer and communication skills • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment Physical Requirements This is a physically active role that requires: • Standing, walking, kneeling, and moving for 8–12 hours • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 65 lbs • Comfortable working in cool, wet, or loud environments • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately Compensation: $16.71 - $17.27 hourly
