Civil Engineer

Selectek is seeking a Civil Engineer for our partnering company in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Candidates in this role will be working on an array of projects, but the firm's primary focus is transportation and roadway work.ÂnEmployment Type: Contract-to-DirectnLocation: Sandy Springs, GAnExpected Pay Range: $ 40.00-$60.00 per hour, based on certifications and experiencenSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Hybrid work schedule of three in-office days and two days working from home will be available after orientation period.ÂnJob Requirements: •   Bachelor’s Degree - Civil EngineeringÂn•   Civil 3DÂn•   Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience (will consider higher level and PE's as well)Ân•   Experience with site development, hydrology, stormwater managementÂn•   General knowledge of basic fundamental engineering principles including but not limited to surveying, geometrics, hydraulics, grading, CM, floodplain management and utility designÂn In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.nJob Duties:n• Perform assignments using prescribed methods requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criterian• Perform calculations and analysis using fundamental engineering formulasn• Design and layout of plans and detailsn• Adjust & correlate data, research code issues, design options and document findingsn• Organize and maintain project filesn• Prepare plans, special provisions and estimatesn• Preparation of letter reports and project correspondencen• Coordinate with other engineering disciplinesn• Communicate with (internal & external) others clearly and professionally in both technical and non-technical terms.n• Manage a team of professionalsn• Preparation of proposals, project scope and budgetingn• Prepare Specifications as required to support CD’snFor more information on this position or other openings around the southeast, call Joey Fairbanks with Selectek at 470.203.9530.
