Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related science field with Microbiology coursework preferred
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, lab safety, and microbiological procedures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, standing or sitting for long periods, and performing repetitive lab tasks
Basic computer skills and clear written communication

- Competitive Pay
- Salary Range: $44,000.00 - $55,000.00
- Bonus: Exempt employees are eligible for a bonus in accordance with Accupac's Bonus Plan

- Career Growth
- Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, bulks, and finished products
- Prepare and sterilize media; perform growth promotion and sterility testing
- Conduct swab sampling, viable environmental monitoring, and water testing
- Maintain neat, accurate, and GMP-compliant documentation and logs
- Handle and identify viable bacterial strains using aseptic techniques
- Track lab inventory and maintain clean, safe lab conditions
- Train new lab personnel and serve as backup to the Senior Microbiologist or Supervisor (Level II)
- Lead shift change meetings and participate in plant hygiene initiatives (Level II)
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related science field with Microbiology coursework preferred
