- Cuts and slices vegetables, makes salads, and assembles entrees.
- Completes pre-preparation of products for next-day meal services (e.g. panning of items, marinating of meats, slicing of food, etc.).
- Prepares and stores food properly, adhering to established sanitation and safety procedures in the preparation and service of meals.
- Assures the safe and sanitary operation of all food production equipment and tools. Cleans production areas and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required Education and Experience:
- Experience with cooking in the food service industry.
- Must have a current City of Fort Worth Food Handler's Certification. OR
- Must have completed an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited Food Handler's Certificate Program.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
