Summary:
- Performs custodial, light maintenance and repair of all district facilities, and grounds as assigned. Normal working hours are days, Monday-Friday.
- Provides for daily lunch table setup/take down at the Primary School.
- Provides for maintenance and repair as requested via work orders.
- Provides for snow removal as required for all walkways, entries, and accesses in and around all district buildings. Snow removal will be done before and during school hours in order to avoid interruption and provide safe access to facilities.
- Responds as needed to emergencies throughout the school day. Performs cleanups, takes care of clogged/flooded restrooms, broken windows/doors, or other conditions requiring immediate attention, on all campuses.
- Performs other duties as assigned, when Maintenance/Custodial leads are busy.
- Read, interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions, facility requests, and labels on chemicals and supplies.
- Notify supervisor of areas that need repair by maintenance staff, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, and heating issues.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Carries out all job duties following established Corvallis School District policies, procedures, and practices consistent with the mission and philosophy of the school.
- Responsible for promoting a safe work culture. Performs all tasks in a proper and safe manner following established policies, general safety rules, and safe operating procedures.
- Demonstrates an attitude of collaboration, cooperation and collegiality by the use of excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills in a spirit of team play in order to assure high quality outcomes for all students, staff, and community members.
