Apprentice Plumber

HJD Capital is looking for Apprentice Plumbers to support current and upcoming project needs across San Antonio. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers on a variety of commercial construction jobs.

What You'll Do:
As an Apprentice Plumber, you'll assist experienced plumbers on job sites with tasks such as:

  Supporting plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair work as directed

• n

  Helping inspect and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety

  n
n
• n

  Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials to ensure job readiness

  n
n
• n

  Learning to read blueprints and understand plumbing layouts

  n
n
• n

  Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubing

  n
n
• n

  Assisting with domestic water supply systems, drainage, and med-gas

  n
n
• n

  Helping identify and repair issues in plumbing systems

  n
n
• n

  Working on gas, liquid, and stormwater piping systems

  n
n
• n

  Practicing safe work habits in all environments

  n
n

What We're Looking For:

  Basic understanding of plumbing tools and techniques

  Willingness to learn and take direction

  Strong communication and teamwork skills

  Reliable and safety-conscious

  High school diploma or equivalent

  n

  Enrollment in or completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is a plus

  Basic knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems is a plus
