Job Overview
The Account Executive, SMB Sales role is designed for bold, results-driven sales professionals who are passionate about building strong customer relationships and bringing high-value products and services to underserved markets. This is a true hunter role with the opportunity to exceed sales quotas, acquire new accounts, and make an impact within small and medium-sized businesses (1-299 employees). Success in this role comes from prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads within an assigned geographic territory. Solution-based selling is key, aligning customer needs with tailored recommendations to close deals.
Note: This is a field sales role. The candidate must reside within the Georgetown/Mt Pleasant, SC territory.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Prospect, cold call, and network to generate and work leads under sales manager supervision.
  • Customer Needs: Identify customer needs and present wireless solutions, including pricing, data services, handsets, and accessories.
  • Deal Closure: Negotiate and close sales effectively.
  • Skill Development: Engage in training to improve skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • CRM Use: Utilize sales automation tools to manage pipeline, sales activities, and forecasts.
  • Territory Management: Maintain and grow the customer base within the assigned territory.
Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • B2B sales experience (Required).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Task Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated attention to detail and superior service
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
  • Negotiation: Strong closing and negotiation skills, with emotional intelligence and problem-solving ability
  • Cold Calling: Experience in cold calling and door knocking
  • Prospect Management: Ability to guide leads from contact to conversion (Preferred)
  • CRM: Experience using systems like Salesforce to manage sales activities (Preferred)
  • Proposal Writing: Skilled in preparing and following up on proposals and pricing quotes (Preferred).
