- High School diploma or G.E.D. minimum.
- Experience in food preparation procedures for 50 meal servings.
- Aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists in the preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner.
- Assists in maintaining a cost effective school food service program.
- Responsible for ensuring that during meal services, the supply of food offered is replenished regularly.
- Assists in the daily cleaning of the kitchen and serving areas. Must know HACCP.
- Performs major cleaning of equipment and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the kitchen leader.
- Maintains a professional cordial attitude with all building and kitchen staff.
- Follows all guidelines given by CDE and USDA.
- Performs duties necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the lunchroom.
- Finishes all tasks in a timely manner.
- Shares duties such as computer input, paperwork and rotation schedules.
- Can lift 20-25 pounds.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 168 day assignment, 6-8 hour minimum per day.
- Employee shall have a 90 day probationary period, after which the district will evaluate progress.
