We're partnered with a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the Philadelphia area that's looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer with deep experience in Windows Server environments and a solid background in networking . This is a full-time, hybrid role with a mix of remote flexibility and on-site work at client locations in the region. You'll be working with Microsoft technologies, virtualization, firewalls, switches, and endpoint security platforms.
You'll own projects end-to-end, help mentor junior engineers, and have a direct seat at the table when it comes to designing and scaling systems. The company offers a ton of growth potential, a strong engineering culture, and a chance to work on both cloud and on-prem architecture with an emphasis on uptime, performance, and customer success.
Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Windows Server (2012-2022)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Experience supporting end-to-end infrastructure in a client-facing environment
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with cloud migrations (Azure preferred)
  • MSP or consulting background strongly preferred
  • Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell)
  • Strong documentation and ticketing system experience
