Remote Work Available:
This is a hybrid remote position and can be based in California or Nevada . The posted salary range reflects compensation for candidates located in California . A salary range for Nevada-based candidates is available upon request.
What You'll Do:
As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you'll play a vital role in supporting our commercial lending efforts by evaluating the creditworthiness of business borrowers and helping structure loans that meet their needs-while protecting the credit union's portfolio. You'll work side-by-side with our Commercial Loan Officers and cross-functional teams to deliver strong financial insights and excellent service.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Analyze borrower financials, conduct interviews, and assess collateral to determine creditworthiness
  • Underwrite a variety of commercial loans, including real estate, C&I, equipment loans, and lines of credit
  • Prepare comprehensive credit memos with clear, thoughtful risk assessments and recommendations
  • Manage loan renewals, gather updated financial data, and support portfolio risk management
  • Review complex documentation like financial statements, appraisals, and environmental reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams, borrowers, and third parties to move loans forward efficiently
  • Stay informed of lending regulations, policies, and industry best practices

What You Bring:
  • 2+ years of commercial lending or banking experience (underwriting experience preferred)
  • Experience with commercial real estate, lines of credit, SBA programs, or asset-based lending is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional, responsive service
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and comfort learning new systems
