nAs a valued member of the CTS Team, this engineer will be the primary point of contact within the PW4000 and PW2000 Hot section and controls Module CIPTs, the MRO shop, and the Airline Customer.
nWhat You Will Do:

The CTS Engineer will ensure customer issues, field service events and inquiries are appropriately assigned and worked in an agreed upon priority to achieve timely response.

Secure required resources within the CIPT and other engineering functional groups as necessary. Typical associated tasks include but not limited to the following;
n n - n
As Member of the CIPT the CTS Engineer will be the focal for establishing and managing part/component maintenance strategies for supporting aftermarket overhaul objectives, such as, Limit Creation and Extensions, Repairs, Generation/Revision
n n - n
Design Iterations - As they relate to solving an overhaul issue
n n - n
Spares and Asset Reallocation
n n - n
Engine Manual Clarification/Revisions
n n - n
Develop & implement aftermarket plan for critical material plan. Develop aftermarket strategy in synergy with Engineering Changes.

Support Engineering Enable Aftermarket: Technology / Cost. Facilitate and Process Engineering Authorization (EA) documents for engine/module piece part inspection and repair data for limit extensions, one time concessions and Manual limit updates.

Develop response and or action plan to resolve MRO issues reported to CTS via the EagleNet communication tool from Field Representatives or other means.

Coordinate with Engineering functional groups for development of new maintenance criteria / inspections in support of the MRO shop and flying fleet.

Support the development of hardware retrofit and associated industrial hardware plans to ensure support of MRO work scope and schedule.

This assignment offers interesting and exciting insight to the Airline operations, Engine shop activity.

Job requires flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and ability to multi task across several engine disciplines and across several OCE engine models

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent background.
n n - n
5+ years of engine test, design, project, overhaul and/or repair engineering experience or equivalent experience or 3+ years with an advance degree.

Must be a U.S person/Permanent Resident

On the job training and familiarization can be considered for favorable candidates.

General knowledge of gas turbine engines, control systems, nacelle, and experience with airline customers or airframers is also favorable.

nOnsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
nCandidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
nThe salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
