Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), 737 Derivatives Systems organization is seeking a high-performing Senior Systems Integration Manager (Level L) to join the team in Renton, WA .
Position Overview:
The BCA 737 Derivatives Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) seeks a dynamic leader for Systems Integration on the 737 Development Airplane Programs (737-7 & 737-10). The ideal candidate will thrive in an adaptable, problem-solving environment, embracing updates in guidance and regulatory expectations. They will demonstrate strong leadership, influencing diverse organizations (programs, functions), and effectively communicating complex technical topics to drive quality outcomes.
The position requires effectively managing, developing, and inspiring a cross functional team of first-line managers engaged in engineering and technical activities within systems engineering. It involves fostering inclusive relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, suppliers, and direct reports from diverse backgrounds. The role encompasses developing comprehensive plans, strategies, metrics, and innovative solutions to address complex engineering problems related to airplane systems. Additionally, it entails providing inclusive technical direction in areas such as commercial airplane certification, development assurance, software/hardware development, and requirements validation and verification. Position Responsibilities :

  • Manages and leads first line managers and their teams in 737 Systems and Airplane Systems Design Center.
  • Develops strategies and implements Development Assurance (ARP4754A) for 737-10 Systems.
  • Provides oversight and leads teams through development of system safety analyses (ARP4761) and safety related issues.
  • Provides technical direction and process improvements regarding requirements management.
  • Develops and executes plans to support MAX Development Program priorities and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Communicates and develops strong relationships with customers, executive leadership, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Renton, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working as a manager leading engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and influence positive outcomes with innovation, excellence and quality amongst peers and adjacent teams.
  • Experience coordinating with the FAA or international regulatory authorities. (FAA, EASA, or TCCA, etc.).
  • Experience with industry standards such as ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-160, DO-178 or DO-254.
  • 3+ years of experience on airplane type certification projects.
  • Master's Degree in an engineering related field or Business Administration (MBA).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
$171,700 - $232,300
