nThe Cleaner Position is vital members of the club staff team. They ensure that the facility is clean and meets the expectations of members. The Cleaner will be responsible for any combination of heavy and light cleaning duties on the gym floor, locker rooms and offices. n
nThe Cleaner will work under the direction of the General Manager.n
nThe position is for hours in the late evening: n10pm to 2am Monday to Thursday nFriday and Saturday Off n7pm to 11am on Sunday n
nResponsibilities n
nThe Cleaner performs any combination of heavy and light cleaning duties to maintain gym in a clean and orderly manner. n
nSome of the various duties include:n
n Cleans glass doors, windows and all mirrors n Wipes down equipment n Empties trash receptacles dailyn Sweeps and mops floorsn Changes light bulbs as necessaryn Heavy cleaning of all bathrooms (tile, showers, walls and sink, mirrors, lockers) n Dusts dailyn Mops and sweeps floorsn Maintains and organizes mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners and other equipment and the supplies in good condition in designated storage areasn Picks up debris and mops rubber floor n Replaces or adds required supplies in locker roomsn Cleans vacuum cleaner bags or canister dailyn Reports maintenance problems in an accurate and timely mattern

nQualifications n
- n
- At least three (3) months experience in cleaning or janitorial services and three (3) months customer service experience desired; experience in hospitality or health clubs is a plus n
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred n
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing n
- Must have excellent organization, interpersonal and time management skills n
- Must have proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously n
- Must be able to collaborate and work as part of a team in a professional manner n
