nEssential Functions

nPrepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
nFollows recipes, controls, portions, and presentation specifics as directed
nResponsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the manager
nFollow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes as directed
nHandle, store, and rotate all products properly
nPreferred Education and Experience:
nHigh school or equivalent
nA minimum of 1 year of cooking experience and demonstrated knowledge of food trends, quality, production, sanitation, presentation, and food cost control.
nWork Environment: This job operates in a professional hospitality environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
nMust be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, and interact effectively with guests
nMust be able to accept constructive criticism from supervisors
nMust be able to change activities frequently and cope with last-minute room changes
nMust be able to maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
