nnThe Sr Engineer is a multidisciplinary position involving some systems work, some manufacturing work, some operations work, and mostly Production Engineering work.
nnExpected duties:

- Interpret system requirements on assigned program, and analyze production compliance with those requirements. n
- Ability to solve technical problems that are mechanical, electrical, and software domain. n
- Work with program manager and customer to evaluate and/or validate product requirements. n
- Become technical point of contact for assigned program in regards to manufacturing, material review, production questions, and program support. n
- Qualify for Material Review Board, and carry out reviews on non-conforming parts, to include analysis, determination, and documentation of technical path forward. n
- Act as focal point for product technical challenges, production of that product, and interact with operations on schedule for manufacture. n
- Interact with program management, technicians, assemblers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers and other program stakeholders to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals. n
- Take ownership of the Technical Data Package: Update, maintain, correct, and interpret technical requirements as necessary during production of the end items. n
- Accomplish field service of weapons systems as needed. n
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

- Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies. n
- Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems. n
- Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects. n
- Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field and manages projects. n
- Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment. n
Basic Qualifications
nRequired Education: Associates Degree
nPreferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
nDiscipline/Major: General Engineering or specialized Engineering degree required
nnYears of Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in a relevant function
nnKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Completed classwork in the mechanical, materials, thermal, and/or analysis area of interest. Oral and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Problem solving skills. Mathematic skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise.
nnTravel Requirements: Travel international and domestic at or below 25%.
