Job Description
  • Design and implement industrial control systems, from architecture to programming and final integration.
  • Develop HMI, PLC, and SCADA software across platforms like Siemens (TIA Portal, WinCC), Allen Bradley, and Fanuc.
  • Lead equipment debugging and F/SAT processes, both domestically and internationally (travel ~30%).
  • Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align control requirements and system interoperability.
  • Write operation manuals, schematics, and installation instructions with clarity and detail.
  • Troubleshoot and support deployed automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
  • Support engineering leadership on cross-functional automation and mechatronics initiatives.

The Successful Applicant
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in control system design and industrial automation.
  • Proficient in PLC/HMI programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, Allen Bradley Studio 5000, WinCC).
  • Working knowledge of robotic systems (ABB, Fanuc, or KUKA) and communication protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, RS-232, OPC).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bonus: Experience with LabVIEW or industrial PC-based control systems.
