Phlebotomist - Waynesville Family Practice - FT

Specimen labeling, ordering, accessioning, and processing.

Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

Maintains equipment and medical supplies.

Specified waived testing if applicable.

Minimum Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Minimum Work Experience Phlebotomist I New graduate/Less than 3 years of experience

Phlebotomist II Minimum of 3 years of experience

Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Skills Phlebotomy Certification Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred
