As a Mechanical Engineer , you will play a key role in developing new and improved products while solving production challenges. You'll use SolidWorks extensively, but hands-on problem-solving, prototyping, and clear communication are just as important. You'll have access to a full machine/fabrication shop and 3D printing , as well as direct collaboration with trusted local and overseas suppliers from prototype to production.
This is an in-office position in Elyria, OH .
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new products and improve existing products, from concept through production
- Collaborate with cross functional product development team members
- Create engineering specifications, drawings, and test plans
- Work hands-on with machining, fabrication, and prototyping tools
- Support regulatory compliance, including FDA-compliant design documentation

Required ExperienceJob Requirements:
Mechanical engineering degree required
SolidWorks proficiency required (experience with surfacing/NURBS modeling is a plus)
Experience creating engineering drawings
Hands-on mechanical design experience outside of classwork required
Some fabrication or machining experience necessary
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to thrive ! in a hands-on, blue-collar work environment
Preferred Qualifications (Assets):
- Aesthetic or ergonomic design experience
- Experience working with manufacturers or vendors (especially overseas)
- Experience in the medical or rehab industry
