• The position of Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing and service by developing, qualifying, implementing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, processes and procedures.
n
• This individual will also contribute to cost savings projects.
n

Duties and Responsibilities:

nn

n
• Support existing manufacturing product line(s) from the Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) division.
n
• Participate on new TTM product introduction projects to concurrently develop assembly and testing methods and equipment.
n
• Lead validation efforts for TTM-related processes and equipment.
n
• Lead pilot run execution.
n
• Participate in design reviews representing manufacturing as required
n
• Develop and maintain specifications and procedures for manufacturing, test and inspection processes.
n
• Design, develop, specify, acquire/manufacture, qualify and maintain manufacturing & test fixtures, tooling and equipment.
n
• Develop and execute test protocols, author test reports, technical memos, investigations and document changes in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
n
• Trouble-shoot processes, designs, and equipment.
n
• Responsible for the production line efficiency improvements (processes, layouts, fixtures/tooling, etc). Utilize Lean tools to eliminate waste, increase capacity, and drive cost out of the process.
n
• Responsible for the identification, planning and execution of cost improvement projects for TTM products and accessories.
n
• Lead multiple engineering projects. Examples:
n
• Manufacturing & service support tasks.
n
• Continuous improvement projects.
n
• Qualifications and validations (IQ, OQ, PQ’s) of processes and/or equipment.
n
• Investigations (root cause analysis, failure analysis, replacement materials/equipment).
n
• Product transfers.
n
• Equipment Maintenance Projects
n
• Creation and set up prototype production lines.
n
• Pilot production runs.
n
• Assist in the selection and qualification of vendors for the procurement of production materials and equipment
n
• Perform root cause analysis. Develop and implement corrective actions.
n
• Manage the total manufacturing cost for all products and accessories.
n
• Maintains working knowledge of company policies and procedures, ISO and FDA requirements.
n
• Other TTM related duties as assigned.
