nCompletes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.
nWe are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mesa, AZ).
nThis is a Resident Technician for Keolis

Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

RESPONSIBILITIES
nIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Completes complex internal engine repairs
n n - n
Performs engine overhauls unassisted
n n - n
Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
n n - n
Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
n n
QUALIFICATIONS
nThe tech for this position would be trained in-shop but the primary role of this position is as a resident tech for our transit customer. Once training is complete the tech will report to the customer site daily.

A current valid license is required for this role

This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

3 years driving experience

This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use

-Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age

- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing. n
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
nApprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
nVocational diploma from relevant technical institution
nLocally valid driving permit (Preferred)
nThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
nExperience:
nIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

nBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
