nJoin a world-class team driving innovation and sustainment on the cutting edge of aviation. We're seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the F-35 Fleet Analytics team, supporting the reliability and performance of the most advanced fighter jet in the world.
nIn this role, you will be a key contributor to the F-35 Sustainment Reliability Analytics Team, providing deep technical insight into fleet performance and serving as a trusted interface for both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise will directly support mission readiness by identifying and addressing performance degraders across F-35 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, maintenance procedures, and system-level trends.
nKey Responsibilities
n- Analyze F-35 sustainment and operational data to identify performance degraders and improvement opportunities.
n- Translate complex data into actionable insights and create reports and presentations tailored for stakeholders across engineering, logistics, and program leadership.
n- Serve as a technical liaison for performance metric reporting, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with program goals.
n- Mentor junior analysts by sharing your knowledge of aircraft systems, sustainment strategies, and data interpretation best practices.
n- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, logistics, and customer teams to support continuous improvement in fleet readiness and sustainment planning.

nBasic Qualifications:
n· Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or STEM
ndiscipline or 5 years aircraft related
nexperience as pilot or maintainer in absence of a Bachelors Degree
n· Analytical and problem-solving experience
n· Experience with manipulation and/or analysis
nof data in spreadsheets (MS Excel - Equations,
nPivot Tables and/or VBA).
n· Project management experience with multiple
ndeadlines, managing customer requirements,
nand/or experience presenting status to senior
nleadership.
nDesired Skills:
n· Analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability
nof solving complex problems which require
ningenuity and innovation.
n· Experience in metrics requirement definition,
nperformance data analysis and/or reporting
nactivities.
n· Experience with systems engineering
napproaches and configuration management.
n· In depth knowledge of Performance Based
nLogistics (PBL) Sustainment baseline,
nperformance metric measures, aircraft readiness
ndegraders, and readiness reporting techniques.
n· Knowledge and experience with two or more of
nthe following F35 sustainment processes and
nsupporting organizations: Training Systems,
nSupply Chain Management, Support Equipment,
nAutonomic Logistics Information Systems, Joint
nService Technical Data, Engineering disciplines
nand Production processes.
n· Reliability and Maintainability experience
npreferred.
n· Experience in international programs and
ndealing with foreign customers and basic
nknowledge of the global industrial base.
n· Excellent written and verbal communication
nskills, with an ability to address diverse
naudiences.
n· Experience with Tableau, Business Objects or
nVisual Basic.

nAbility to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
nWork Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
nSchedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
