Mechanic Assistant
JENNMAR SERVICES is seeking a Dayshift Assistant for mechanic for the Florence and surrounding areas that meet the below criteria.
Payrate - $16 hour
***REQUIRED-Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, which must be maintained***
Qualifications for Mechanic Assistant:
• The ability to organize the shop area to improve work environment
*Basic maintenance responsibilities that include cleaning
*Experience reading and interpreting schematics and parts breakdown
• Ability to complete required paperwork
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Verbal comprehension (understand oral and written communications--both general and technical)
• Communication skills (provide clear instructions/directions)
• Reasoning skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills)
• Mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities for Mechanic:
• Assist the mechanic as duties are assigned
*Stock selves and keep parts in orderly fashion
*Maintain a clean shop area
• Work safely to prevent on the job accidents and injuries
• Wear protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety-toe boots, or safety glasses
• Work outside in all weather conditions, in tight spaces,
Salary commensurate with experience.
Benefits begin 60 days after the first of the month hired: Medical, Dental, Vision. Accidental, and Life insurance
