Description
CPH is looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our growing team in Orange Park, FL .
Hiring Bonus of up to $5,000 for selected candidate!
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful municipal infrastructure projects from initial planning and design through permitting, construction, and project close-out. Our projects span from small wastewater collection or water distribution projects to multi-MGD water and wastewater treatment facilities.
As part of our collaborative team, you'll gain full-scope project experience while developing client relationships and contributing directly to the success of water and wastewater treatment projects throughout North and Central Florida.
Duties Include:
  • Assist in the planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and utility systems.
  • Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, design calculations, permitting documents, and cost estimates.
  • Perform technical analysis and research, hydraulic modeling, and report preparation.
  • Engage directly with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in field investigations, site visits, and construction oversight.
  • Effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
  • Must have passed their PE and be able to obtain their Professional Engineering license in Florida.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering or municipal infrastructure preferred.
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterCAD, or similar design software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software is a plus.
