Job Summary:
-To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
-The requirements list must be representative of the knowledge, skills minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required.
-Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
-Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required.
-Hazardous Analysis of Criticial Control Point (HAACP) training to be obtained after hire.
-Ability to follow a recipe and scale.
-Basic knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions.
-Reviews menus daily to determine quanitities of food and supplies needed.
-Prepares food for cafeteria, patient food service and catering using creativity, quality, consistency and promptness.
-Follow and comply with recipe standards.
-Monitors and replenishes food as needed for cafeteria, catering or patient trays.
-Ensures food is being handled and stored to Hazardous Analysis of Critical Control Point (HAACP) guidelines.
-Operates various types of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness. Records temperatures of refrigerators.
-Ensures equipment is in good working condition.
-Promotes mission, vision and values of SCL Health and abides by service behavior standards.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
Shift is Sunday - Thursday 6AM - 2:30PM
