Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
  • Able to operates cleaning equipment such as: iron, washer & dryer, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc.
  • Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and provide vaccination record card at time of hire.
Responsibilities
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities
  • Clean public/common areas and resident's apartments.
  • Distribute laundered articles and linens.
  • Change beds.
  • Clean public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Wash, dry and iron resident laundry and community linens.
  • Fold and/or hang laundry appropriately.
  • Distribute laundered articles and linens.
  • Maintain and clean resident laundry areas .
  • Wash windows at reasonable heights through out the community as requested.
  • Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
  • Stock cleaning cart with supplies.
  • Empty wastebaskets, and transport trash to disposal area.
  • Ensure with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Salary Range
The wage range for this position is $21.00/hr - $24.15/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
