The Sponsor provides engineering design and implementation expertise to support Enterprise network infrastructure, and also maintains a backlog of over three hundred IT related requirements supporting tenants from multiple organizations. The Sponsor’s office architects, designs, and develops secure and reliable network solutions that are optimized for mission needs. The Sponsor requires support specializing in systems integration to report for the purpose of oversight coordination, planning, implementation, and execution of concurrent highly visible, time sensitive, and designated critical systems for a multifaceted IT organization. The work shall be performed independently, and when required within a team environment with other service areas to complete tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated experience providing optical service.
• Demonstrated experience with Dense Wave Division Multiplexer design and implementation (DWDM).
• Demonstrated experience with legacy optical carrier equipment, Synchronize Optical Network.
• Demonstrated experience with data communications networks to manage devices.
• Demonstrated experience in optical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with fiber optic systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the field of optics and network integration.
• Demonstrated experience using the Agile software development methodology.
• Demonstrated experience producing reports and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or SharePoint.
• Demonstrated experience with HTML and browser compatibility baselines.
• Demonstrated customer service skills responding to senior level requests.
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated experience working both independently and on teams with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrated experience exhibiting skills and capabilities with Sponsor computer systems to produce ad hoc reports on project activity and Project Schedules for consumption by senior management.
• Demonstrated experience exhibiting oral and written communication skills across multiple customer communication needs: writing reports, meeting minutes, point papers, memos, and briefings.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating between the Sponsor and Sponsor’s partners and responding to all clients from the new-hire technician to high level staff and all in-between, for all customers who subscribe to the network.
