Sustainment Engineer

STS Government Solutions, LLC (SGS) is hiring for a Sustainment Engineer to support our ongoing mission at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
What You'll Do:

• Engage in activities that maintain the Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) of the F-16 by managing system upgrades, technology refresh efforts, sustainment modifications, and life-extension programs.
• Ensure systems integration for lifecycle product support and performance-based operational outcomes.
• Tasks include analyzing data and implementing corrective actions (e.g., engineering dispositions) in response to in-service issues, deficiency reports, and operational hazards. Identify and mitigate potential obsolescence concerns such as Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and support overall system performance improvements.
• Sustainment activities may include MLV software loading and verification procedures, mission planning support, disposition of 107, 202, and other Technical Assistance Requests (TARs), DLA 339 and Source Qualification requests, as well as TO updates.
• Additional deliverables include briefings, reports, white papers, analyses, OSS&E checklists and CRD reports, internal process documentation, requirements generation, program documentation, and functional diagrams.
