Industrial Pipefitter Foreman

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring Pipefitter Foreman for industrial projects in the Baltimore area. The pay range is $27-$35 per hour based on experience. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for material take offs and the assembly of piping systems IN THE FIELD to produce high-quality products. Piping systems will range in size from ½” to 12” diameter, and connection types including: butt weld, socket weld, flanged, and threaded. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values precision and craftsmanship. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

Ultimate Job Duties

n
Experience leading a crew (or crews) of pipe fitters and welders (at least 3-5 craft workers)on piping projects in an industrial setting.

Experience planning piping projects to include: Equipment installation, pipe support locations and installation, pipe routing, tie-in connections and shut down requirements.
n
n
Experience running piping through active industrial production facilities is required.
n
n
Experience working with butt weld and socket weld systems, up to and including 8” diameter steel pipe.
n
n
Ability to interpret plan view and elevation view drawings to understand the project.
n
n
Understand P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and can coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings.
n
n
Ability to generate isometric drawings for fabrication in a shop environment for installation in the field. This includes proper take-offs and cut lengths, generated from field measurements, plan view drawings and P&IDs.

n
Ability to field route piping where appropriate and required by the client.
n
n
Working with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel
n

Journeyman Pipefitter Requirements

n
2-5 Years previous experience in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial environment.
n
n
Familiarity with ASME codes & standards
n
n
Familiarity with SMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding processes
n
n
OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 a plus)
n
n
Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments.
n
n
Reliable transportation with active driver’s license
n
n
US Citizen and/or Green Card Verified
n
n
Flexibility to travel in the Baltimore Metro Area (Aberdeen, MD to Washington, DC)
n
n
Willing to work at least 40 hours per week (Mon – Thu on a 4-10’s schedule or Mon- Fri on a 5-8s schedule), with the flexibility to work overtime as required. Some night shift may be required, which is dependent on client needs.
