Job Description:nSelectek is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Roswell, GA. This role involves managing, investigating, and overseeing field investigations for a variety of geotechnical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foundation investigations, slope stability analysis, and retaining wall design, with experience in transportation and mining projects.nKey Responsibilities:nnManage and oversee field investigations related to geotechnical engineering.nConduct and supervise foundation investigations, slope stability analysis, retaining wall designs, and bridge foundation investigations.nDevelop detailed plans and specifications for geotechnical projects.nPerform settlement analysis, soil stabilization, and dam design as required.nMentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical oversight and support.nUtilize geotechnical engineering software such as GROUP, LPILE, Slope/W, Seep/W, Shoring Suite 8, MathCAD, ProSheet, Sigma/W, AutoCAD, and MicroStation to perform analysis and create designs.nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.nnRequired Qualifications:nnBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or a related field.nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or surrounding states.n15+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering.nProficiency in geotechnical engineering software: GROUP, LPILE, Slope/W, Seep/W, Shoring Suite 8, MathCAD, ProSheet, Sigma/W, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.nStrong analytical skills with experience in bridge foundation analysis, settlement analysis, and soil stabilization.nExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop younger engineers.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnExperience in geotechnical design for transportation and mining projects.nFamiliarity with dam design and related geotechnical investigations.nnAdditional Information:nnLocation: Roswell, GA (ZIP: 30075)nWork Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through FridaynEmployment Type: Direct HirenSalary: $100,000 (Flexible) with potential for higher compensation for the right candidatennHow to Apply:nIf you are interested in learning more about this position, please contact Jaie Rogers at or call 678-802-6632.
