The Site Safety and Health Specialist:

  • Integrates with project team at the job site to develop, monitor and oversee task level site HSE requirements during the execution of field work.  Initially, work will include basic infrastructure development (electrical, water, sewer, buildings and facilities) and then will include site remediation, and finally demobilization.
  • n
  • Conduct worker exposure monitoring, document measurements and provide summary reports as required for site programs.
  • n
  • Interface, integrate and align with the SLDA Project Team including the Site Manager, Project Manager, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Health and Safety Manager.
  • n
  • Provide HSE advice and risk management to the site operations team.
  • n
  • Responsible for timely HSE incident reporting and investigation. 
  • n
  • Provides worker EHS training for a variety of site-specific topics.
  • n
  • Serve as a visible and credible ambassador for developing a positive safety culture.
  • n
  • To be an exemplary HSE professional demonstrating commitment to continued self-improvement, and professional development.
