We’re looking for Automotive Technicians who have experience working with a variety of vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems and components. If you are a self-starter with a passion for cars, then we want you on our team!
nAutomotive Technician Responsibilities:
nPerform diagnostic, mechanical, and electrical repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
nReplace and/or repair engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, suspensions.
nPerform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and fluid changes.
nDiagnose the cause of mechanical failure, complex drivability problems, and safety problems in automotive equipment and determine appropriate repairs needed.
nPerform skilled repair work on automotive equipment.
nOperate complex computerized diagnostic equipment.
nUse hand and power tools safely and skillfully.
nSafely lift objects weighing 50 pounds.
nRetest drives after repairs completed to verify that repair solve.
nWork independently, prioritize work, and make sound decisions.
nRead and understand automotive operating manuals and schematics.
nAutomotive Technician with current ASE Certifications preferred.
nCurrent Illinois driver's license with clean driving record.
n10 years professional, automotive problem solving, repair experience.
nStrong automotive electrical & mechanical diagnosis, problem solving and repair experience.
nSignificant investment in their own tools and has the knowledge to use them.
nReliable transportation to and from work and be punctual Monday through Friday.
nHigh energy level, self-motivated with initiative and able to perform all the above without guidance or supervision and without taking shortcuts or compromising job integrity.
