nPosition Summary: The Head of M&A and Corporate Development will lead the strategic development and execution of M&A activities across Equitable Holdings, with a focus on retirement, wealth management, and asset management through AllianceBernstein. This role is critical in identifying growth opportunities, assessing potential acquisitions, and integrating new businesses to enhance our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
nStrategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the M&A strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. n
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and evaluate strategic acquisition opportunities. n
- Work closely with the management committee of Equitable Holdings and key internal stakeholders, including Investor Relations, Treasury, and the Corporate CFO. n
Deal Sourcing and Analysis:

- Identify potential acquisition targets through comprehensive market and competitor analysis. n
- Conduct detailed financial analyses and modeling to assess the viability and potential return on investment of M&A opportunities. n
Transaction Management:

- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration. n
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions. n
Deal Integration:

- Develop and execute integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and maximize synergies post-acquisition. n
Strategic Planning:

- Engage in strategic planning activities to align M&A initiatives with broader business goals and objectives. n
Market and Competitor Analysis:

- Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends and competitors to inform M&A strategies and identify new opportunities. n
Capital Markets and Internal Restructuring:

- Collaborate with capital markets teams to assess financing options and optimize capital structure. n
- Lead internal restructuring efforts as needed to support strategic objectives. n
Relationship Building:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with investment banks, legal advisors, and other external partners. n
- Act as a primary point of contact for all M&A-related inquiries and communications.
The base salary range for this position is 250K - 350K. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for the programs depend on level and function al area of responsibility.
