In this pivotal role, you'll be constructing and overseeing Operational Technology (OT) systems to imitate real-world industrial conditions, contributing to the enrichment of our OT cybersecurity solutions. This position is crucial for simulating authentic protocol traffic and device behavior, supporting our quest to enhance OT visibility, threat detection, and device classification through collaborative efforts with our security research and product development teams.nnKey Responsibilities:nnDesign, build, and configure OT testbeds, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, across various industrial sectors.nDevelop simulations for industrial processes and protocols to support security research and device visibility.nCollaborate closely with security researchers and product engineers, providing them with realistic environments for their analyses.nMaintain and optimize the lab infrastructure for current and future research and product development projects.nDocument system configurations, logic diagrams, and setup details to aid in repeatability and integration with ongoing research activities.nnMust-Have Skills:nnProficiency in PLCs and SCADA systems configuration.nDeep knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, PROFINET, etc.).nStrong collaborative skills for effective teamwork with security researchers and engineers.nnIndustry Experience Required:nnExtensive experience in industrial automation or control systems engineering, preferably with exposure to OT cybersecurity principles or ICS network architectures.nnABOUT AKRAYAnAkraya is an award-winning IT staffing firm consistently recognized for our commitment to excellence and a thriving work environment.
