We're looking for a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing Aviation Team in Lakewood, Colorado . This is a rare opportunity to work on nationally recognized aviation projects-from international terminals to regional airports, aircraft hangars, flight training centers, and general aviation facilities.
As a project manager and technical lead, you'll take ownership of high-impact projects with budgets ranging from $10K to $1M+, helping shape the infrastructure of airports across the country. This role is ideal for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys collaboration, takes pride in design excellence, and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate structural design efforts in-house and with external consultants.
  • Manage teams of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors throughout design and construction.
  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through clear communication and reliable delivery.
  • Attend project and client meetings and represent the company with professionalism.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Minimum of 9 years of progressive structural engineering experience.
  • Strong leadership, technical, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience managing structural projects from concept through construction.
  • Demonstrated success in internal and external communication.
  • Advanced project management skills, including schedule and budget oversight.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor with the discretion to handle confidential information.
