Insomniac's Clubs Division is focused on creating a first class experience for our Headliners. Our expanding roster of club partners includes some of the world's top venues, delivering performances from globally renowned DJs backed by top-notch sound and visuals. The diverse calendar of events celebrates the electronic dance music community and culture, offering an endless range of experiences. Insomniac's Clubs Division includes venues world renowned venues; Exchange LA, Academy LA, Avalon, Day Trip in the Park, Time Nightclub, Nova SD, Bloom, Church Nightclub and Club Vinyl.
THE ROLE
The Digital Advertising Manager will oversee all paid media planning and performance for Insomniac Clubs, managing advertising across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms. This role is responsible for setting the strategy, overseeing execution, reporting on performance, and mentoring a team of Digital Advertisers & Marketers. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, and Execs to create strategies that will be implemented by the Advertisers and Marketers to drive results across hundreds of concurrent campaigns.
This position requires both a strategic and tactical mindset: setting high-level goals while knowing how to roll up your sleeves to optimize media buys, troubleshoot pixel tracking, evaluate creative performance, and create campaigns yourself.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead paid media strategy across all venues and brands, aligning budgets with sales goals and key milestones
  • Supervise and mentor Advertisers & Marketiers, providing training, QA, and performance feedback
  • Oversee media planning, pacing, and optimization across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Set up campaign goals and frameworks, including audience targeting, creative testing plans, and key KPI benchmarks
  • Partner with marketers to align campaign priorities and messaging
  • Approve media budgets and campaign recommendations before launch
  • Monitor campaign health daily, identifying underperforming ads and directing timely optimizations
  • Own post-campaign analysis and weekly reports, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Manage media asset flow-ensure proper specs, approvals, UTMs, and tagging standards are met across campaigns
  • Evaluate platform and vendor performance, making strategic recommendations for budget allocation and tool adoption
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, privacy changes, and emerging digital media trends
  • Collaborate with CRM, influencer, and email teams to integrate paid media into the broader funnel
  • Ensure data integrity in reporting through proper use of naming conventions, pixel tracking, and UTMs
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies in media spend, attribution, or performance with internal and external partners
  • Assist with strategic planning for seasonal campaigns, evergreen campaigns, and new market launches
  • Represent the digital advertising team in cross-functional meetings with leadership and partners
  • Train and provide support in onboarding team members, clients, vendors and partners when needed
  • All other projects and initiatives as identified
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Represent the digital advertising team in cross-functional meetings with leadership and partners
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying - agency/social preferred
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, and YouTube
  • 2+ years managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Familiarity with Snap Ads, Spotify Ads, and emerging platforms is a plus
  • Deep understanding of KPIs like ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, and attribution models
  • Proficiency with GA4, Looker Studio (or similar), and Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas)
  • Ability to manage large budgets and multiple concurrent campaigns
  • Experience with CRM and audience segmentation strategies a plus
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams
  • Must be 21+ and available to work nights/weekends as needed for event support
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments in dynamic work locations
  • Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines and work events

Salary Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 USD
