Job #: 204266 Title: Brazer Location: Syracuse, NY Salary Range: 17.00-18.00/hr DOE Position: Brazer Description: Confirm correct brazing material, either phos-copper or silver and correct content. Braze Wetting Chart Measurement of brazing rod used. Once rod has been measured it is to be physically marked in some way, such as crimping. Verify if purging is required and if any valves require being open or closed. Confirm all components are correct. Proper removal of part from the fixture to avoid any possible damage or causing the part to not conform to the drawing. First piece inspection required for all operations to be placed on the inspection table when applicable. Pre-braze layout using print & fixture if available. Determination of which parts require quenching verses those which do not. Prior to brazing determine if a heat sink such as a wet rag or heat shield is needed to protect any sensitive parts. Review drawing for any special requirements, parts, instructions and traveler requirements.

Hours 7:00 am to 3 :30 pm. OT available and sometimes required.

Pays $17.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE
