Class B Delivery Driver - Food Service

Join Our Team as a Class B Delivery Driver! Position Overview: Earn competitive pay starting at $20.50 per hour. Your Role: As a Class B Delivery Driver at Performance Foodservice, you play a vital role in ensuring that our food supply chain operates smoothly. You are not just a driver; you are the face of our company, building long-lasting relationships with our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck for the purpose of delivering food products, ensuring timely arrivals in compliance with all safety regulations. Performing safety checks on the vehicle and freight in accordance with DOT regulations. Inspecting and verifying loads against customer invoices to confirm accuracy. Unloading products and ensuring they are delivered to the correct storage areas, all while maintaining professionalism. Collecting payments when necessary and securing all relevant paperwork accurately. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle and loading area. Contributing to a supportive and inclusive work environment by working as a team member. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. A minimum of 12 months of commercial driving experience. A valid CDL-B license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check. Willingness to obtain a current DOT Health Card.
