Employment Type: W2 Contract via Staffing AgencyPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage the initiation and planning phases of new major projects and programs. This role involves developing proposals, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful project launch while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development: Lead and manage the development of proposals for new major projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives
Phase Management: Coordinate and oversee Phase 1 (Initiation) and Phase 2 (Planning) activities, including feasibility studies, project scoping, and resource planning
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project sponsors to understand requirements, objectives, and constraints while facilitating communication among cross-functional teams
Documentation Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including project charters, business cases, and detailed project plans
Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or success
Executive Reporting: Prepare and present project proposals, status updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices throughout the proposal development process
Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, including key milestones, deliverables, and budget status
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of project management experience with focus on proposal development and early-stage project planning
PMP or relevant project management certification highly desirable
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
Proficiency in project management tools and software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar)
Experience in energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
