Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):
Drive the design, implementation, and deployment of software applications and systems in a fast-paced agile environment
Work closely with product owner & development team to flesh out requirements and solution design
Lead triaging and troubleshooting of technical issues, seeing them through to resolution
Interface with internal and external clients to ensure all technical solutions are considered and vetted
Mentor and collaborate with peer software engineers through both high and low-level technical challenges
Improve departmental and operating efficiencies by developing technical standards and practices
Write unit and integration tests and perform other quality-oriented tasks as needed to ensure high quality software applications and systems
Review the work of engineers of every skill level
Deliver high quality architecture solutions for technology and operational excellence
Required Qualifications:
Possess bachelors degree or equivalent experience/technical training
Excellent oral, written, and listening skills
Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team
Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the software development field
Strong desire to learn and help others learn
Demonstrated experience as the primary SME (subject matter expert) of large, complex software products
Experience in every area of software development (server-side, front-end, database/document storage, reporting, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving ability
7+ years experience as a Software Engineer or related Software Development technical role
Qualifications:
Experience in Microsoft .NET technology stack (C#, MVC .NET, ASP.NET, et al)Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with the event ticketing industry
Experience in deployment automation and IaC (infrastructure as code)
Experience with Azure
