Glenwood Residence - Primary Program Site
Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, with rotating on-call weekends
Start time flexibility to supervise 1st, 2nd & Overnight shifts

WAGE RANGE:
$53,000 - $62,000/annually
JOB SUMMARY:
Catholic Charities seeks a self-motivated people leader who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to join us as a Program Manager II at our Glenwood Residence managed alcohol program location.
The Program Manager II is responsible for the management of teams, at our Glenwood Residence, Evergreen Residence & Higher Ground Minneapolis locations. Provides input on policy and procedure changes, policy implementation, planning and development of new and existing program services, and budget preparation and management. Responsible for the delivery of client services within Catholic Charities standards, and legal and licensure requirements. Participates in conferences, training, and in divisional and agency strategic planning process, as requested by the direct supervisor.
Glenwood Residence is the primary site for this position and is a managed alcohol program that offers 80 units of deeply affordable housing in the heart of Minneapolis for people who have not found success with traditional chemical dependency treatment programs. This positive community benefits from a harm-reduction model of care that ensures safe housing regardless of sobriety.
Successful candidates in this specific position must be willing and comfortable with serving alcohol to clients and in our managed alcohol program and be knowledgeable about the harm reduction models.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensures the program meets accreditation, licensing and best practice standards.
Ensures data tracking and compliance requirements are met. Prepares reports and statistical information as requested.
In conjunction with HR, recruits, hires, coaches, reviews, supervises and terminates as necessary program staff members. Builds team of professional colleagues.
Collaborates with the Volunteer Coordinator in the placement of volunteers and interns.
Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and client outcomes.
Works with direct supervisor to develop and implement program vision and goals.
Connects with the community via outreach, and through additional methods, to ensure program information is accessible and available to the community.
Works with supervisor and Development staff to monitor and/or negotiate contracts/grants as required.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of relevant experience required.
Post-secondary education .
Previous supervisory experience .
Must have a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance coverage.
Ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required.
