Were on the lookout for a
QA Test Engineer
to ensure the reliability and performance of our
Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
softwarecritical applications that bridge the gap between ERP systems and the shop floor. These tools provide real-time production visibility, traceability, and control, helping manufacturers improve quality, boost efficiency, and reduce waste.
What Youll Do:
Youll be at the heart of our quality assurance processresponsible for test case design, manual and automated test execution, defect reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. From reproducing customer-reported issues to validating complex software-hardware interactions, youll ensure every release meets the highest standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing, writing, and executing manual and automated test plans for MES features and bug fixes
Collaborating with product owners, developers, release managers, and support teams
Preparing and maintaining test environments, including both software and hardware components
Reporting defects and inconsistencies with thorough analysis and documentation
Participating in Agile ceremonies and team meetings, including QA status updates
Occasionally traveling to customer sites to provide expert-level support when needed
What Youll Bring:
5+ years
of experience in manual testing for enterprise software, with a strong understanding of QA best practices
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
Experience in
hardware-software integration testing
in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Knowledge of
PostgreSQL ,
MS SQL Server , networking protocols, and system configuration
Proficiency with
Linux
(Ubuntu/CentOS),
Windows , and test/defect tracking tools (JIRA, Xray, TestLink, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in global teams, including international stakeholders
Bonus if you have:
Experience in electronics manufacturing environments
Familiarity with
UIPath
or other test automation frameworks
Understanding of MES, ERP, or shop-floor operations
