Technical Project Manager Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local business who is looking for a Technical Project Manager in the water technology industry.
The Technical Project Manager will oversee Engineering Project Management, Business Development to manage projects from design through execution.
The ideal candidate has a balanced understanding of both technology development and business operations, with a preference for individuals experienced in Engineering equipment commercialization.
The Technical Project Manager position is a full time, temp to hire position near Antioch, CA.
Technical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead Project Planning, Execution, & Delivery For Water Evaporation & Treatment Systems
Manage Engineering Teams & Contractors, Ensuring Technical Quality, Schedule Adherence, & Budget Control
Oversee Equipment Deployment, Commissioning, & Field Optimization Activities
Collaborate With The Leadership Team on Commercialization Pathways, Including Pilot Testing & Market Validation
Develop & Maintain Project Documentation, SOP’s, & Technical Reports
Provide Technical Input & Strategy For New Product Development & R&D Initiatives
Support Business Development Efforts, including Proposal Writing, Client Engagement, & Technical Sales
Identify Opportunities to Streamline Operations, Reduce Costs, & Enhance Product Performance
Coordinate With Regulatory Bodies & Partners to Ensure Compliance & Reporting Accuracy
Technical Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Environmental or Commercial) Required, Advanced Degree
5+ Years in Water Treatment, Environmental Engineering, or Related Field
Proven Experience in Project Management & Engineering Team Leadership
Familiarity With Water Evaporation Technologies, Water Reuse, & or Produced Water Treatment
Demonstrated Ability to Translate Technical Concepts Into Actionable Business Strategies
Experience With Commercialization, Prototyping, & Product Development Cycles is an Asset
Strong Communication, Organizational, & Problem-Solving Skills
Willingness to Travel Between Bakersfield & Antioch & Any Future Customer Sites
