Position Description:
Phased n Research is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer. The candidate will support development, modeling, and simulation of radar activities for the U.S. ARMY Search Trach Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) project office. The selected candidate will perform software engineering duties in support of the program. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.
Job Duties:
· Design, develop, and maintain radar simulations and models using industry standard C++ computer languages in Linux.
· Assess, analyze, provide performance analysis of simulations and models.
Required Skill and Qualifications:
· Active clearance or ability of acquire clearance.
· Bachelor's Degree or higher in STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another relevant technical field)
· Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate successfully with other internal and external stakeholders
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to succinctly describe complex technical scenarios in simple, easily understood terms
· Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience supporting US Government Scientific & Technology Intelligence Centers
· Experience with Agile/Scrum software development practices
· Experience with Docker/Podman containers
· Experience with Makefiles, CMake, Linux, C+, Matlab, Python, BASH
· Experience with NVIDIA CUDA
